How to Create an OKX API Key
To connect your OKX account to UnicornX (available on Pro plans), follow these steps.
Step 1: Log in to OKX
Go to okx.com and log in.
Step 2: Go to API Management
Click your profile → API → Create V5 API Key
Step 3: Configure API Key
- Set a Purpose: Trading
- Enter a Name: e.g., "UnicornX"
- Set a Passphrase (remember this, you'll need it)
Step 4: Set Permissions
- ✅ Read
- ✅ Trade
- ❌ Withdraw – Do NOT enable
Step 5: Save Your Keys
You will receive an API Key, Secret Key, and Passphrase. Store all three securely.
⚠️ Important: The Passphrase is set by you and is required alongside the API Key and Secret Key.
